Discover Boyland

Boyland as a starting point

Clandulla is a 20-acre property in Boyland, Queensland. This acreage refers to the property, not the entire town. This distinction is useful when planning your trip: the size describes the setting of Clandulla, while the other details refer to specific businesses, accommodation or activities. Boyland brings together a range of options, including holiday cottages, seasonal produce and air sports. You can make your choice based on whether accommodation, a changing selection of goods or a particular type of flying is your priority.

Farm Box with seasonal produce

Clandulla’s Farm Box is a small roadside stall at the entrance to the property. It stocks seasonal, home-grown produce and handmade goods. Stocked in small quantities and according to the season, it offers fresh harvests and goods grown or made on the property. If a particular product is important to you, check the seasonal selection in advance. This will help you take the changing range into account when planning your trip.

Distinguishing holiday cottages from hotels

Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay has five family-friendly holiday cottages in Boyland. If you are specifically looking for a hotel, treat holiday cottages and hotels as separate categories. The family-friendly description applies to these five cottages. This keeps the accommodation information clear: it identifies a specific holiday cottage option in Boyland, not a hotel offering.

Air sports: courses and tandem flights

Oz Paragliding and Hang Gliding offers day courses in paragliding and hang gliding, as well as full pilot licence courses. The provider’s training site is in Boyland and is approved by the Hang Gliding Federation of Australia. The approval applies to the training site. When planning, it is useful to distinguish between training and tandem flights: the courses range from day courses to full pilot licence courses, while tandem flights are described as separate offerings, each with its own stated location.

In the broader surrounding region, Oz Paragliding and Hang Gliding offers tandem hang gliding and paragliding flights on the Gold Coast. Gold Coast Paragliding offers tandem paragliding flights from Mount Tamborine; no training is required for these flights. The two tandem options therefore differ by provider and location: Oz lists the Gold Coast, while the other provider lists Mount Tamborine. Oz’s training site is in Boyland; its tandem flights are offered on the Gold Coast. When comparing the options, consider both the type of activity and the location specified for each one.
