Getting There and Choosing a Base
Melghat is accessible by road, rail and air; the nearest airport is Nagpur. If travelling to Semadoh, you can get off at Badnera Junction railway station. The station is 10 km from Amravati and lies on the Mumbai–Nagpur–Kolkata route. Check rail connections before travelling to make sure your plans suit your intended destination.
If you plan to visit Melghat or Chikhaldara, choose accommodation based on the location of your destinations and the routes you intend to take. This helps you select a base that suits the places and activities that matter to your trip, without assuming that the different destinations form a single excursion area.
