You can consider cultural sites, botanical collections, and landscapes as different focuses when planning your trip.
History and Religious Sites near Panchkula
Gurudwara Nada Sahib is located in Panchkula on the banks of the Ghaggar, in the foothills of the Sivalik range. After the Battle of Bhangani in 1688, Guru Gobind Singh stayed at Nada Sahib during his journey from Paonta Sahib to Anandpur Sahib. This historical connection is linked to a specific stop on that journey.
On one side of the courtyard, near the site of the old shrine, stands a 105-foot (32-meter) flagpole bearing the sacred flag. Religious gatherings and community meals are held at Nada Sahib every day. A festive event is also held there on every full moon day.
Botanical Collections in Panchkula
The Cactus Garden in Panchkula is considered Asia’s largest landscaped outdoor garden of cacti and succulents. In the wider Panchkula travel area, the site is now called the National Cactus and Succulent Botanical Garden and Research Centre and covers seven acres. The garden is home to more than 2,500 species of cacti and succulents; its collection of Indian succulents is considered the largest in the world. It also includes the complete collection of the Caralluma genus native to India. Three greenhouses supplement the botanical collection. The focus is therefore not only on the diversity of species but also on the particularly prominent collection of Indian succulents and the Caralluma collection.
Temples and Garden Design in the Panchkula Travel Area
In the wider Panchkula travel area, the Mata Mansa Devi temple complex is located in the village of Bilaspur, in the Shivalik foothills and near Mani Majra and Panchkula. The 100-acre (0.40 km²) complex is dedicated to the goddess Mansa Devi, a form of Shakti. Every year, the shrine complex hosts two Navratra Melas: one in the month of Ashvin (Shardiya, Sharad, or winter Navratra) and one in the month of Chaitra (spring Navratra). They are organized by the Shrine Board.
There is also a Mughal-style garden in Pinjore in Panchkula district. It is known as Yadavindra Garden, Pinjore Gardens, and Pinjor Gardens. The travel area thus offers a different garden style from the botanically oriented Cactus Garden in Panchkula.

Morni is a village and tourist attraction in the Morni Hills in Panchkula district. It is 35 kilometers from the city of Panchkula and is the only hill resort in Haryana.
