Amadores: Beach, Promenade and Fun Park
Accommodation in Amadores
The beach, waterfront path and leisure activities each have a different role: Playa de Amadores is for swimming, the promenade connects it to the Puerto Rico tourist centre, and Amadores Fun Park is an additional water park option. This lets you decide in advance whether swimming, a walk or an extra activity is your priority during your stay.
Beach, water and swimming facilities
Two breakwaters protect Playa de Amadores from waves, keeping the water calm. The sand is soft, white and golden. Parasols and sun loungers are available to rent at the beach. This service may vary seasonally, so it is advisable to check availability in advance for your planned visit.
Playa de Amadores has been certified with the Blue Flag since 2004. If this distinction is important to your decision, check the current certification status separately. For people with reduced mobility, the beach has amphibious chairs, walkways, buoys and nets to make swimming easier. As the swimming facilities may change, you should confirm their availability locally.
Promenade and getting there
For a walk, a one-kilometre waterfront promenade leads from Playa de Amadores to the Puerto Rico tourist centre; the route can easily be covered on foot.
Playa de Amadores can be reached by bus on the Mogán route; as bus routes and stops may change, check the latest transport information before travelling. By car, you can reach the beach via the C-812. At kilometre 75, take a small turn-off and continue for 200 metres. Road information may also change, so check the latest conditions before setting off.
Water park and dining by the sea
Amadores Fun Park is located at Playa de Amadores in Mogán, next to the beach. This water park offers trampolines, mats and jumps, as well as an all-day ticket. As operating arrangements may change, check the latest conditions and ticket options before planning a visit.
There are restaurants in a shopping centre at Playa de Amadores where you can eat with a sea view. Individual businesses and dining options may change. If you have a particular restaurant in mind, check the latest information in advance. This lets you plan a meal with a sea view as a separate part of your stay.
The activities involve different planning considerations: the promenade is a one-kilometre route, the Fun Park offers an all-day ticket, and sun loungers and parasols are a rental service that varies seasonally. When planning your day, you can schedule these three separately and check the changeable offerings in advance.
