S'Algar is located on a headland on Menorca's south coast. The rocky coastline and swimming area define the resort and provide a setting for activities focused on the sea. When planning your stay, consider whether you want to focus on swimming from the platforms or on diving and boat trips.

Swimming Area on the Rocky Coast

Along the rocky coast, concrete platforms with sun loungers provide places to sunbathe and swim in the clear water. The swimming area is 80 metres long and 22 metres wide. A palm-lined seafront promenade runs alongside it. The rocky coast provides the setting, while the platforms and promenade define the swimming area itself. Check the current condition of local facilities before visiting.

Diving and Boat Trips

A wide range of water sports is available along the coast. S'Algar Diving offers introductory dives and PADI courses from Scuba Diver to Divemaster; TDI courses are also available for experienced divers. The course options therefore differ by entry level, PADI training pathway and the explicitly experienced target audience for TDI courses. The dive centre is located in the middle of the Illa de l'Aire marine reserve. Check the latest location and service information before planning your visit.

Two-hour boat trips focus on snorkelling and exploring marine flora and fauna, using a mask, snorkel and fins. S'Algar Diving also offers trips to coastal coves and sections of coastline that are accessible only by sea in some cases. When planning your day, these trips differ in duration and destination: the two-hour excursion provides a set time for snorkelling, while the other trips go to coastal coves and sections, some accessible only by sea. Check the latest dates and routes before planning your visit.

Upper Cave on the Coast

The rocky coast of S'Algar is also home to the upper cave, which opens to the surface through a wide shaft. Access depends on sea conditions and suitable diving arrangements.
