The Jardín Botánico de Plottier is located on the shore of Laguna Elena in the city of Plottier, in Neuquén Province. A Documented Canoeing Event

The documented eighth edition of the canoeing event “32 Millas del Limay” took place on March 2 and 3. Its 60-kilometer route connected Senillosa, Plottier and Neuquén Capital along the Río Limay. This edition featured solo and tandem events in Olympic kayaks and touring kayaks, as well as a competitive and a recreational category.

About Departamento Confluencia

In the wider destination of Departamento Confluencia, the Río Limay and Río Neuquén meet to form the Río Negro; the confluence gave Departamento de Confluencia its name. In Villa El Chocón, in Departamento Confluencia, the Museo Ernesto Bachmann displays original remains of Giganotosaurus carolinii and a life-size replica of its 195-centimeter-long skull.
