Winemaking history and altitude

Salentein planted the Malbec vineyard on Finca La Pampa in 1997. It was one of the first vineyards in Mendoza at an altitude of 1,300 metres. “La Pampa 1997” also refers to a vineyard: it is located in IG San Pablo in the Valle de Uco, also at 1,300 metres. These details link the name of the finca to a specific grape variety, planting year and altitude.

The “25 cosechas” experience explores the history of the winery—from its beginnings as a pioneer in the Valle de Uco to the present day. It adds a historical focus to the wine-related tours, while tours through the vineyards, production areas and cellar highlight the different stages of winemaking.

Art and other experiences

Espacio Killka is the cultural, artistic and gastronomic centre of Bodegas Salentein. It includes art spaces, a restaurant, an auditorium, a space for corporate events and a wine shop.
