Berazategui offers travelers several distinct themes: a founding center with municipal culture, museums devoted to golf and glass, crafts, and natural areas. When planning a hotel stay, you can choose your focus based on whether you’re most interested in exhibitions, the Feria, or landscapes and wildlife observation.

Museums of glass history and golf

The Complejo Municipal San Francisco is located in the founding center of the Partido de Berazategui. It is home to Muvi, also known as the Museo del Vidrio. Its historical tour explores the history of CristalerĂas Rigolleau and its predominantly immigrant workforce. The focus is therefore not only on glass, but also on the people and work associated with the company.

Another museum explores golf: the Museo del Golf Roberto De Vicenzo is housed in the former core of a rural estate. The building is distinctly designed in the Neo-colonial style. Its exhibition presents the golfer’s family, social and sporting life through objects, photographs, awards and sports equipment. In this way, personal and social aspects are shown alongside his sporting career.

Crafts at the Feria

The Feria Nacional Berazategui Artesanías takes place annually and is free to attend. At the 2026 edition, visitors could view and buy unique pieces made of ceramics, metal, leather, paper and glass, as well as plant and animal fibers. The variety of materials gives crafts a distinct focus alongside the museums and parks. If you plan to visit the Feria, check the dates of that year’s edition in advance.

Parks, habitats and birdwatching

Parque Pereyra Iraola covers a total of 10,248 hectares. Part of it lies within the Partido de Berazategui; the park also extends across the Partidos of Florencio Varela, Ensenada and La Plata. Its total area therefore spans several Partidos.

Part of the Reserva Natural de Punta Lara also lies within the Partido de Berazategui. The reserve protects habitats in the riverside ecosystem: reed beds, riverside scrub, wetlands, grasslands and a stretch of gallery forest. It is a place for birdwatching and is among the areas in the Province of Buenos Aires with the highest concentration of birds. Nature lovers can find a variety of habitats here, along with a clear focus on birdlife.

Parque Municipal de la Familia y los Animales is home to numerous native plant species and recreational areas with a sundial and children’s playgrounds. Granja Educativa is another nature-related attraction in the Partido: during its seasonal program in February 2026, visitors could see rescued animals cared for by professionals from the municipal veterinary clinic.

Riverside connections and other nearby destinations

Costa de Hudson is the Partido de Berazategui’s only developed access point to the Río de la Plata. This specific connection to the river adds another point of reference for trip planning alongside the museum and park themes.

The wider region also offers a tour along interpretive trails with eight stops. Visitors can learn about ecological interactions between native and exotic species, as well as the historical and cultural aspects of Parque Pereyra Iraola. Also in the wider region, Casco de estancia Santa Rosa is one of the most important historic buildings in Parque Pereyra Iraola. These two destinations broaden the park experience with nature education and historical heritage, while remaining distinct from Berazategui’s founding center.
