Wine and the Talha Tradition
The Reguengos de Monsaraz wine region is home to eleven wineries, ten of which offer wine tourism experiences for visitors. Within Reguengos de Monsaraz, Adega José de Sousa is located in the centre, while Adega do Calisto is in the northern part of Reguengos de Monsaraz.

Museums and Architectural History
The permanent exhibition of traditional arts and crafts is housed in the Reguengos de Monsaraz City Library. It includes around 1,000 wine-related items and a reconstructed wine cellar. The library is located in Palácio Rojão, a palace built in the historic centre in the first half of the 19th century. The fresco room at Palácio Rojão features 44 frescoes on its walls, ceiling and doors.
The Museu Megalítico José Maria da Fonseca houses a 4.7-metre-high menhir. The Museu José Mestre Batista holds the most significant collection of professional and personal effects belonging to the horseman José Mestre Batista.
Contemporary art is also part of the cultural offering: the Núcleo de Arte Contemporânea de Reguengos de Monsaraz opened on 3 May 2021 with an exhibition of ten works from the Novo Banco collection. Two paintings by Noronha da Costa are displayed there; exhibitions may change. Another historical landmark is Praça de Touros José Mestre Batista, which was inaugurated on 15 August 1924.
