Łasko offers several specific points of reference for planning your trip: the shores of Lake Okrągłe, two cycling routes starting in Łasko, and the Łasko Peninsula, a nature reserve nearby. The lake, cycling routes and protected landscape provide different points of orientation. At the municipality level, a marked recreational trail also runs around Lake Wygon in Bierzwnik and can be cycled.

Lakeshore and location

The private camping site “Pole namiotowe, Camping- Siedem sosen” is on the shore of Lake Okrągłe. It is about 100 m from the buildings. The site’s name refers to this particular camping site, not to the entire destination in general.

Cycling routes from Łasko

A 34 km cycling route starts in Łasko and is named after the rest area at Jezioro Małe and the historic fire station in Łasko. The second loop also starts in Łasko, is 14.8 km long, and is named after a church in Łask and the historic fire station in Łasko. The distances are easy to compare: 14.8 km is less than half of 34 km. This gives you a concrete difference in route length if that helps you choose a ride. The names also help distinguish the routes: Jezioro Małe appears in the title of the longer loop, and a church in Łask in the title of the shorter one; the fire station features in both. Note the different spellings Łask and Łasko in the route titles and destination name. Route details may change; check the current route before setting out.

Łasko Peninsula and nature reserve

The Łasko Peninsula is a nature reserve in the area around the destination. It lies north of a camping site reached by a road from Łasko. This provides a different landscape reference point from the two cycling routes: Łasko is the starting point for the routes, while the peninsula is located north of the camping site. This can help you distinguish the destination and the peninsula, both of which are called Łasko, when planning your trip.
