Osłonino brings together several clearly distinct landscape features to consider when planning your trip: a hiking trail through the village, a coastal route to the foot of the cliff, an old linden avenue towards Rzucewo, and another trail in the surrounding area. Each route has its own points of reference, which you can include separately in your plans.

Hiking Trail and Coastal Route

The Krawędzią Kępy Puckiej hiking trail passes through Osłonino. One variant runs from the village towards the coast, reaching the foot of the Osłonino cliff. This lets you distinguish between the route through the village and the coastal direction leading to the cliff when planning. The coastal route connects the direction of travel with the endpoint at the cliff. Check for current trail updates before setting out.

Cliff, Beach and Linden Avenue

The Osłonino cliff is active in some sections and wooded in others; the adjoining beach is narrow and has large boulders. The cliff and beach therefore have different features to draw your attention: the cliff alternates between active and wooded sections, while the beach is defined by its limited width and large stones. If you are interested in the coastal landscape during your stay, you can use these features as specific points to guide your choices. The coastal variant of the hiking trail leads to the foot of the cliff, making this landscape feature the endpoint of one trail variant as well.

The old linden avenue offers another specific landscape feature. It runs from Osłonino for about 1.3 km in the direction of Rzucewo. The trees stand in two rows, and in some sections even in four, so the arrangement changes along the avenue. The length and direction answer different questions about orientation: the approximate distance indicates its extent, while Rzucewo indicates the direction in which it runs. If you would like to include the rows of lindens in your travel plans alongside the cliff and beach, the avenue offers another point of reference.

Trail No. 1 in the Surrounding Area

Trail No. 1, a hiking and cycling route, also runs near Osłonino along the flood embankment on the western boundary of Beka Nature Reserve. From the bridge crossing over the Zagórska Struga, it heads north to the Mrzezino–Osłonino road (ulica Morska). The embankment and reserve boundary give the trail a different spatial reference from the village section and coastal route of the Krawędzią Kępy Puckiej hiking trail. Before visiting, check with the reserve administration about access and the route, as both may change.

Comparing Trail Designations

Two features can be considered side by side when making your choice: Krawędzią Kępy Puckiej is designated as a hiking trail, with a variant leading to the foot of the cliff; Trail No. 1 is a hiking and cycling route on the embankment along the reserve boundary. This lets you take both the specified activity type and the different landscape features into account in your plans.
