Przechlewo offers several distinct points of interest when planning a stay: a Baroque parish church, a cinema, places by the water and a recurring summer event. If you are looking for a hotel, you can plan your stay around the interest that brings you to Przechlewo. The distinctions below can help you consider cultural attractions, a possible event date and the two places by the water separately.

St. Anne’s Parish Church: Baroque architecture and a Gothic bell

St. Anne’s Parish Church is a listed Baroque religious building dating from around the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. It was rebuilt in 1720. A Gothic bell dating from 1405 hangs in the exterior belfry on the church grounds. The Gothic bell from 1405 is considerably older than the 1720 rebuilding. It hangs outside the Baroque church in the exterior belfry.

Historical artworks have been preserved inside St. Anne’s Church. The municipal heritage description lists 18th-century Rococo altars and a Rococo pulpit with a sounding board. The ceiling painting “The Assumption of Mary” dates from around 1720. During renovations from 1898 to 1901, the church gained a brick transept and a new chancel, creating the ground plan of a Latin cross.

Kino za Rogiem “Filipinka”

Kino za Rogiem “Filipinka” is located in the GBiCK building in Przechlewo. The auditorium has 30 seats and is accessible to people with disabilities. Its programme includes screenings for schools and kindergartens, cultural events and live broadcasts. The programme therefore extends beyond film screenings, bringing together different types of events at a named venue. If you would like to include a cinema visit in your travel plans, check the current programme and dates: the types of events may change over time.

Lido and park: two places by the water

The lido on Lake Końskie has toilets, showers and rubbish bins. It is located in the Okolice Jeziora Krępsko i Szczytno protected landscape area. Check the current condition of the facilities before your visit.

This place should not be confused with the park on Lake Przechlewskie, which has a pier and a playground. The different lake names help distinguish the park on Lake Przechlewskie from the lido on Lake Końskie. Before visiting, also check the condition of the pier and playground.

Noc Kupały: a recurring summer event

Noc Kupały is also a specific seasonal point of interest: it takes place every year at the beginning of summer on the beach on Lake Końskie in Przechlewo. The Noc Kupały tradition on Przechlewo beach dates back to the 1980s. If the festival is the reason for your trip, check the dates for the relevant year.
