Tarzo offers several specific ways to plan your trip: a stage of the Cammino delle Colline del Prosecco, the Via dei Murales in Fratta, and Prosecco experiences at Ville D’Arfanta. Other options include a walking trail by Lago di Lago, archaeological history and the Festa della Candelora. You can plan your stay around hiking and culture, or wine and local food products.

Trails and walks

The Cammino delle Colline del Prosecco includes a 13.1 km stage from Follina to Tarzo. Its length and endpoints provide a practical guide for planning; check the route details before setting out.

One variation of the Cammino stage from Tarzo to Vittorio Veneto follows the Via dei Murales. This gives you different options for choosing a route: a stage with a specific distance, or a walk through history and folk culture.

Another walking option is the Passeggiata attorno al lago di Lago. It starts and ends at the equipped Parco Va dee Femene in Colmaggiore di Tarzo. The public, equipped park is in the hamlet of Colmaggiore di Sopra in Tarzo; it has barbecue facilities and play equipment for children.

Art, history and Candelora

The Via dei Murales in Fratta, a hamlet in the municipality of Tarzo, is a walking route through history and folk culture. The façades of houses in Fratta feature murals painted by artists from Veneto. The route thus brings together local history and folk culture with art on the façades.

The planning of the Parco Archeologico Didattico del Livelet also has ties to Tarzo’s past: prehistoric finds in Colmaggiore di Tarzo, together with efforts to enhance and promote the area of the Revine lakes, provided the basis for planning the park. Archaeological finds and the development of the Revine lakes area therefore come together in a shared planning history.

The Pro Loco of Tarzo organized the first Festa della Candelora in 1990. As part of the festival, a Mass with the blessing of candles is held in the parish. If you would like to plan your trip around it, check the event dates and details in advance.

Prosecco experiences at Ville D’Arfanta

At Ville D’Arfanta in Tarzo, the Prosecco experience includes a walk through Serena’s vineyards and a tasting of four Prosecco selections, accompanied by local food products. The experience combines a vineyard walk with wine and regional accompaniments.

Ville D’Arfanta also offers a Vespa tour through the green hills of the Prosecco area. It includes a stop at the winery for a picnic in the vineyard. The experiences differ in format: a tasting and vineyard walk, or a ride through the hills with a winery stop and picnic.
