Discover Seebach: mountain hike, mill and Adlersee
Accommodation in Seebach
Seebach’s attractions include a mountain hike, Vollmer’s Mill, which is over 250 years old, as well as climbing, slides and pedal boating. The local attractions each have their own focus.
Active attractions and mill history in Seebach
“Adventure at Adlersee” includes a climbing garden made of boulders, a climbing structure made of black locust wood and a slide area. The site at Ruhesteinstraße 64 in Seebach was opened to the public. The different types of installations give the attraction a clear focus on climbing and slides. Unlike the mountain hike, the focus here is on individual activity features, not on following a route through different sections.
The Seebach mountain hike starts at the Mummelseehalle in Seebach and leads through the spa gardens, across orchards and through mixed woodland, as well as through the old SilbergrĂĽndle mining area, to Hohfelsen with its summit cross. The sections along the way also play a role: the hike passes through different landscapes and ends at the named destination with its summit cross. Its structure differs considerably from the individual installations at Adlersee.
Vollmer’s Mill is a milling mill over 250 years old and a tourist attraction in the municipality of Seebach. Its age and type of mill give this destination a different focus from an activity facility or route: here, the mill itself is the main attraction. If you would like to include a historic mill in your plans alongside outdoor activities, it is a destination in Seebach in its own right.
You can rent pedal boats at Mummelsee. This is another specific activity option alongside the climbing and slides at Adventure at Adlersee and the different sections of the mountain hike. This gives you a choice of different activities when planning your trip: an activity facility, a route or pedal boating. Vollmer’s Mill adds a destination with a historic connection to milling.
The Ortenau district as the wider regional setting
