Blagnac offers a range of options for your stay: insights into aviation, historic buildings and trails through natural areas. If you’re looking for a hotel in Blagnac, you can consider which of these topics interests you most when planning your trip. Each attraction and location has its own focus—from aircraft assembly to the city’s history and outdoor walks.

Aviation and guided tours

The aeroscopia museum traces the history and roles of commercial, tourist and recreational aviation, as well as military, scientific and experimental aviation. The museum also offers workshops and activities for young children; the program may change. So check the latest information before your visit.

The guided Airbus tours have different focuses. The Airbus A321 tour includes a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Jean-Luc Lagardère final assembly line next to the aeroscopia museum. The guided Airbus A350 tour includes a stop at the A350 assembly line viewpoint. Airbus Kids is an interactive tour for children aged 6 to 12. Tour booking conditions may change; check the latest information before planning around them.

Buildings and local history

The Church of Saint-Pierre welcomed worshippers as early as the 11th century and is a protected historic monument. Its restoration campaign ran from 2008 to 2012. The Four Ă  briques is linked to another aspect of local history: it is the only surviving evidence of a vanished brickmaking industry closely connected to the local terroir.

The Chapel of the Oratoire Saint-Exupère is another of Blagnac’s historic buildings; it dates from the 15th century. The Monastère de Sainte Catherine de Sienne includes a chapel and a 17th-century château. Together, these places illustrate different historical connections, though they do not belong to the same period or share the same character.

Odyssud is the city’s cultural centre. Its facilities include a venue with more than 1,000 seats, an exhibition space and an auditorium. If you’re considering a visit on a specific date, check the current program and ticket information, as the program and ticket conditions may change.

Walks and natural areas

The Andromède Promenade leads to the Bois de Pinot, where picnic tables are available for a break. Along the way, it passes a wetland that provides a habitat for frogs, dragonflies and rushes. A nature excursion to the Bois de Pinot also takes you to the former Domaine de Pinot agricultural estate, which is now a place for woodland walks. The picnic tables offer a practical place to take a break; when planning, you can also consider the walk and the wetland as different aspects of the route.

Another option for a walk is the riverside path along the Touch. It runs through the meanders of the Touch in Layrac, a neighbourhood incorporated into Blagnac by imperial decree in 1809. The Quinze Sols natural area is a vast, tranquil landscape close to the historic centre. This gives you a choice of different landscapes for your time outdoors: a wetland along the Andromède Promenade, a woodland walk at the Domaine de Pinot, the meanders of the Touch and the Quinze Sols natural area.
