Bread oven and village tradition in Le Breuil
There is a bread oven in the village of Le Breuil, apparently dating from the Napoleonic era. A storm damaged part of its side wall in 2008. The structure was subsequently restored, with work completed in August 2011.
When possible, the association keeps the tradition alive by holding a bread festival in August. Among other things, visitors can sample country bread baked in the oven. Confirm the date in advance, as the festival only takes place when possible.
