Corneilla-Del-Vercol brings together wine tastings, a greenway separated from motor traffic, leisure activities and historic buildings. If you are looking for a hotel, your reason for visiting may help you decide: would you like to plan a wine tasting, explore a route by bike, or organize your trip around architecture and events? Each activity has different conditions, which you can check in advance before visiting.

Wine Tastings and Appellations

The Château de Corneilla welcomes visitors for wine tastings. Reservations can be made by telephone or email. As booking details may change, it is advisable to check the latest information before your visit.

The Jonquères d’Oriola Vignobles estate farms 70 hectares of vineyards and spans six appellations: AOP Côtes du Roussillon, AOP Côtes du Roussillon Villages Les Aspres, AOP Collioure, AOP Muscat de Rivesaltes (Vins Doux Naturels), AOP Rivesaltes (Vins Doux Naturels) and IGP Côtes Catalanes. The list therefore includes several designations of origin, including AOP and IGP appellations.

Greenway and Leisure Activities

The Agouille de la Mar Greenway runs through Corneilla-Del-Vercol and connects Saint-Cyprien with Montescot. It is secured, three metres wide and separated from motor traffic. These route details and the named endpoints are useful points of reference when planning a bike ride. Access conditions may change; check them before setting out.

The Notre Dame du Paradis hermitage stands near the village, beside the Greenway along the Agouille de la Mar. It links the route to a specific cultural destination without requiring you to take an additional route.

La Pinède has children’s play equipment, including swings, a climbing net and spring riders. There is also a bike cross track and an area for food trucks. The food truck schedule may change. The recreation area therefore offers different ways to enjoy the outdoors; its facilities may also change over time.

The Parcours de Santé has sports equipment for all generations beneath olive trees. Comparing it with La Pinède, you will find different specific features: play equipment and a bike cross track at one, sports equipment beneath olive trees at the other. Check the current facilities if you have specific plans.

The Château de Corneilla dates back to the 13th century and offers views west towards Mont Canigou. It is now privately owned. If you would like to visit the historic building, check access arrangements separately from wine-tasting reservations.

The present-day church in Corneilla-Del-Vercol dates from 1885. Five stained-glass windows are located above the apse, and 14 Stations of the Cross are arranged on the nave walls. The construction date and the details inside the church offer different points of reference for the village’s history.

The FĂŞte du Cheval programme includes equestrian demonstrations and free activities. The event is listed for the first Sunday in October at Stade municipal. The date and venue may change, so it is advisable to check before travelling.
