Račiněves combines a late medieval church in the village center with the Kavčina archaeological site, about one kilometer to the east. Church of St. Havel and archaeological heritage

The Church of St. Havel complex is a prominent urban feature in the center of Račiněves. The church is a valuable medieval religious building dating from the late 15th century. As a cultural monument, it is registered under ÚSKP number 28108/5-2242 and has been protected since May 3, 1958. The date places the building in its historical period; its protected status indicates its official cultural standing.

Kavčina offers a different perspective on the history of the village. The archaeological site lies on a gentle rise near sand pits and adjacent fields and includes a cult site, a settlement and a burial ground. While a medieval religious building is the main focus at the church, Kavčina brings together three distinct elements in one area. The two sites therefore represent different cultural themes: architectural history in the center and archaeological evidence to the east.

Horses and facilities at Pecharův ranč

Pecharův ranč has horse paddocks with shelters. There are currently 16 horses kept or grazing there; other animals include Dutch goats, four Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Göttingen minipigs, rabbits and other animals. The animal population may change. Horse keeping is also of interest to riders: the ranch is part of the “koňské stezky” and has a rescue station, as well as facilities for riders and their horses.

Horses can be accommodated in paddocks or stalls. Riders can stay overnight in a cabin located directly in a horse paddock. When planning, it is a good idea to consider horse accommodation and your own overnight stay separately and confirm both options before arrival. This makes it clear which accommodation is intended for the horse and which for the rider.

The ranch also has a covered log-cabin restaurant with a fireplace and facilities for horse events, children's programs, school trips and children's birthday parties. Village center, events and dining

The center of Račiněves is called Ohrada and includes a small park with benches and some play equipment for children. The public amenities may change. Local events may also be relevant when planning your travel dates. Myslivecká společnost Račiněves holds a traditional hunting ball and a shooting competition. If you want to plan your trip around either event, check the dates in advance. Račiněves also has a municipal restaurant where meals are available. Before visiting, check whether the restaurant is open and serving food.

Getting there and finding your way around

Several bus routes run through Račiněves. The listed connections include Roudnice n.L.–Libochovice, Louny–Roudnice n.L.–Mělník–Mladá Boleslav and Roudnice–Velvary. Check timetables and the connection that suits your journey before departure. The D8 motorway junction is about 2 km from Račiněves; this is an approximate distance for orientation, not a travel time.
