Špejchar Želeč also adds an agricultural technology collection to the range of options; special visiting conditions apply here.

Wellness Želeč: Pool and Sauna

Wellness Želeč has a relaxation pool with a counter-current system and massage jets, as well as a whirlpool with a water temperature of 36 °C. The facilities also include a Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna. When planning your trip, you can therefore decide whether the pool, the whirlpool at the stated temperature, or one of the two types of sauna matters more to you. The facility operates seasonally. So check its opening times before your trip if you are planning a visit.

Kozlov and Its Plant Life

The Kozlov Nature Monument is located in the cadastral area of Želeč u Tábora. It comprises a wet managed meadow with numerous protected and endangered plant species. The population of the broad-leaved marsh orchid (Dactylorhiza majalis) is particularly noteworthy: its density reaches up to ten specimens per square metre. The population may vary seasonally. For nature enthusiasts, Kozlov is a distinct attraction alongside wellness and sport. If you are interested in wet meadows and plants when planning your trip, the nature monument offers a specific point of interest on this theme.

Cycling Route through Želeč

The “Na Borkovická blata za lidovou architekturou” cycling route passes through Želeč. It is 69 km long; an alternative route covers 59 km. These two distances give you a concrete comparison for your planning: the shorter option is ten kilometres shorter. Check the current road layout and route conditions before setting off. This will help you choose a suitable route length without basing your route planning solely on the stretch through the village.
