Bezděčí u Trnávky: Landscape and Cultural Heritage
Accommodation in Bezděčí U Trnávky
Bezděčí u Trnávky can be understood geographically and thematically through its riverside setting, forested and elevated landscape, and local cultural heritage. Outdoor venues available for rent add a distinct planning consideration to these features of the area.
Location and landscape
The village lies on the right bank of the Jevíčka. The Močidla forest extends from the eastern edge of Bezděčí u Trnávky. To the northeast are the wooded slopes of Planivá, whose summit is 559 m high. The compass directions help distinguish the landscape features: Močidla extends from the eastern edge of the village, while Planivá lies to the northeast. Bezděčí u Trnávky is also located on the western edge of the Bohdalov-Hartinkov Nature Park. The riverbank, forest, summit, and nature park are distinct geographical reference points that can help you understand the village and its regional setting.
Cultural heritage and local history
Local cultural landmarks include three 19th-century crosses near the chapel. Another work is a sculpture group of the Holy Trinity dating from 1849, with reliefs on either side. The sculpture group is dated more precisely than the crosses: a specific year is given for it, while the crosses are assigned to the 19th century. This distinguishes two different forms of local religious cultural heritage. The village’s history offers another point of reference: Bezděčí was known by the name Mitterdorf and belonged to the town of Jevíčko. Its historical name and former affiliation add another perspective on the village’s history alongside its cultural landmarks.
Cycling and hiking routes
A visitor description updated in 2007 mentions the marked Hradec Králové–Břeclav long-distance cycling route. It runs west of Bezděčí u Trnávky and through Unerázka. The same description also lists a yellow-marked hiking trail through Unerázka. The route details can be distinguished by their course and markings: the cycling route is described as running west of the village and through Unerázka, while the hiking trail through Unerázka is marked yellow. If you plan to use either route, check the signs on site before setting out.
Outdoor venues available for rent
Výletiště Bezděčí u Trnávky and Altán Unerázka are outdoor venues available for rent. If you would like to include either in your travel plans, check reservation requirements and availability for your preferred date in advance. These are two specific venues that may be rented. Making a reservation is a separate planning step that you can take according to your schedule.
Plan your stay
The landscape, cultural heritage, a planned excursion, and the option of renting an outdoor venue are different aspects of a stay. Tailor your choices to your personal requirements; if needed, plan routes and rental venues separately, taking the stated conditions into account.
