Sućuraj combines beaches in town, trails for a range of activities and a ferry connection to Drvenik. When planning your stay, beach conditions, preferred activities and travel arrangements can all be useful considerations. The town has two beaches with different features, as well as more than 30 kilometres of trails used for cycling, running and walking.

Beaches and trails in town

At Česminica Beach, the water is shallow over a sandy seabed. The shore is partly pebbly and partly rocky; there is also a café-bar and a shower. Bilina is a pebble and stone beach, about 500 metres from the town centre. You can reach it on foot through the old streets or by vehicle along the road towards Mlaska Bay.

When choosing a beach, you can weigh up these different features: Česminica is characterised by its shallow, sandy seabed, while Bilina offers a route from the town centre. The nature of the shore also differs between the two beaches.

On more than 30 kilometres of trails, you can cycle, run or walk. The trails run along the sea, over hills, through woodland and among olive groves. This lets you combine outdoor exercise with a variety of landscapes; use is not limited to a single activity. Conditions on individual trails may vary.

Activities on the water and by bike

Activities in Sućuraj include diving, spearfishing and fishing from the shore or a boat. Small boat rentals and locally guided fishing trips are also options. Availability may vary depending on the season and provider.
