The playground can be reached by taking the DreiSeenBahn up to 2,410 m and then following a short, easy path to the DreiSeen-Hütte.

In 1624, under Prince Leopold V, Kühtai Hunting Lodge was expanded into a princely hunting lodge. The Knappenweg offers another glimpse into history: it leads to a miners’ house built in the 17th-century style, which houses a small mining museum. As a circular hiking trail from Hochoetz to Kühtai, it has an average altitude of 2,000 m and includes several stops. In the Sperrenhaus, an exhibition room and a dedicated screening room provide information about generating energy from hydropower and building the Sellrain-Silz power plant.

Cycling and getting there

Kühtai can be explored by mountain bike or e-bike.
