Krinitsi National Park is located in Ramat Gan. Ramat Gan National Park features sculptures, an audiovisual cultural trail, walking and cycling paths, and sports and garden areas. The IDI Gallery and Ramat Gan Safari add further themes to the city’s offerings.

Sculptures and a Cultural Trail in the National Park

Ramat Gan National Park is home to sculptor Menashe Kadishman’s collection of sculptures. The park describes it as the artist’s largest collection. The works are spread across the Positive Trees area and the Kadishman Sculpture Garden. This layout gives art in the park two named points of reference.

The Naomi Shemer Trail offers a different focus: sounds, words and images played through speakers combine to create an experience centered on music, culture, Zionist values, community and family. The park thus brings together a sculptural focus and an audiovisual cultural offering.

Paths, Sports and Gardens

The national park has paths for walking and cycling that are considered suitable for all age groups and at any time of day. There is also a fitness area in a natural setting. A 200-meter running track runs around the training area. This means you will find paths for walking and cycling, as well as a fitness area with a clearly specified running track. The paths and fitness area offer different forms of exercise from the playing fields: here, the focus is on walking, cycling or working out, while there it is on ball sports. This distinction can help you choose the kind of physical activity you want for your visit.

The sports area includes four beach volleyball courts, which can also be used for footvolley, netball and other sports. There are also soccer fields and a free mini soccer pitch with artificial turf for children. While the beach volleyball courts accommodate several sports, the mini soccer pitch is specifically designated for children.

The beach-like area offers another way to enjoy the park: you can walk barefoot, read or take a stroll here. Traditional almond trees and old carob trees grow in the Orchard Garden, along with fruit-bearing trees, including lemon trees. This lets you explore not only exercise and sports but also a beach-like area and a garden with specifically named tree species.

Gallery and Safari

The IDI Gallery exhibits jewelry and art objects and houses a visitor center. Ramat Gan Safari has a different focus: it describes its animal collection as the largest in the Middle East. It highlights the large herds roaming its African habitats as a special feature. The gallery and safari therefore appeal to different interests: art objects and jewelry on one hand, and an animal collection and African habitats on the other.
