Zeralda’s accommodation options include the Zeralda Youth and Leisure Campsite. It is set amid a pine forest and by the water. The grounds include a hotel, chalets and tent pitches. When making your choice, it is worth distinguishing between the stated capacities: they refer to different types of accommodation, and the tent pitches are specifically intended for youth holiday camps.

Hotel, Chalets and Tent Pitches

The hotel has 70 beds, and each hotel room has two to three beds. The chalets have 30 beds. The tent pitches, with a capacity of 250 beds, are intended for youth holiday camps (CVL). This tent capacity is therefore assigned to a specific type of stay. If you are looking for a hotel room or chalet, you can compare the respective accommodation types and their bed capacities. For specific travel dates, check directly with the camp for current availability of your preferred accommodation type.

Facilities on the Grounds

The site has a restaurant with 120 seats, an outdoor dining hall with 300 places, a cafeteria, a medical clinic and a car park. The two rooms for meetings and conferences have separate capacities: the meeting room has 40 seats, while the conference room can accommodate 250 people. If you plan to use one of these facilities during your stay, confirm current availability directly with the camp.

The Train Station and Beach as Points of Reference

Zeralda SNTF railway station is 2 km from the campsite. According to the camp’s information, the site can be reached via this station. Les Sables d’Or beach is 700 m from the campsite. The two distances refer to different destinations and provide a practical reference when planning your stay: the beach is listed as closer than the railway station. If travelling by train, check current train services; if planning a beach visit, find out about access and conditions in advance.

Nature and Environmental Education in the Municipality

In the municipality of Zéralda, the Maison de la Nature is located at the headquarters of the Réserve de Chasse de Zéralda. Its exhibition space presents the reserve’s biodiversity through displays about fauna, fish and flora. Environmental education and awareness activities for schoolchildren are also among its activities. The nature theme adds a distinct cultural and educational focus in the municipality to the information about the campsite.

If you are planning a visit to the Maison de la Nature or an educational activity, ask about visiting options in advance. The environmental education activities are aimed at schoolchildren, so it is best to plan a visit by contacting them beforehand. This will help you weigh up the type of accommodation, the campsite’s location and your interests in nature and the surrounding area separately.
